You can watch classic films like Serpico and A Place in the Sun or more recent releases like Generation Um or re-watch classic television series like Father Knows Best. And don’t get us started on the variety of albums and audiobooks you can access.

Toti painting unveiling

On May 11, Minister Heather Klimchuk and City Councillor and Library Trustee Don Iveson unveiled a special commemorative painting by Canadian artist Toti. The painting, which features EPL’s Strathcona Library, celebrates the 100 years that EPL has served Edmontonians. Toti was in attendance along with several notable community members who are depicted in the painting, including EPL CEO Linda Cook and EPL supporter Stanley Milner.

The painting, along with watercolour studies of all the people depicted in the painting, was on display at the Gallery at Milner for the month of May. Its permanent home will be the Strathcona Library.
