Incredible! In just a few days, over 175,000 people have signed our petition to Bayer and Syngenta, calling for the companies to drop their lawsuit against the European Commission. What’s more, tens of thousands of you have shared the campaign with your friends. And our actions are rocking Bayer.
At the same time as Bayer is launching this lawsuit to try to overturn the EU’s bold move to save the bees, the company is pouring money into its PR spin machine. A Bayer team is working around the clock to shift blame away from Bayer’s chemicals and onto other factors, just like fossil fuel companies’ efforts to confuse the science of global climate change. At the recent Independent Garden Center Show, Bayer was sure to buy a booth front and center to proclaim it “loves the bees.”
Bayer cares deeply how it is perceived on this issue, and will do everything it can to mislead the public. By sharing this action with your friends over email and social media, you can help push back against Bayer’s bald-faced profiteering and help save the bees.
The two biggest ways that you can help out are:

Bayer is fighting a very dangerous game, gambling that it can soak up billions of dollars in neonic earnings before its products do irreparable harm to the ecosystem. We’re demanding that Bayer and Syngenta respect sound science and drop their lawsuits.
Thank you for standing up against out-of-control corporations,
Taren, Kaytee and the rest of us
Wow. Bayer has just sued the European Commission to overturn a ban on the pesticides that are killing millions of bees around the world. A huge public push won this landmark ban only months ago — and we can’t sit back and let Big Pesticide overturn it while the bees vanish.
Just last month, 37 million bees were discovered dead on a single Canadian farm. And unless we act now, the bees will keep dying by the millions. We have to show Bayer now that we won’t tolerate it putting its profits ahead of our planet’s health. If this giant corporation manages to bully Europe into submission, it would spell disaster for the bees.
